Venacio Alverez vs Quiqui Platero

Boxing Daily Report from the Felix Orcales promoted show at Dasmarinas Augusto, Dasmarinas,  taking place on 16/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Venacio Alverez (20(1) - 6(1)) who hails from Malolos, Philippines and Quiqui Platero(16(5) - 3) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Alverez weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Platero weighed in at 147 pounds.
