Vidal Melendez vs Aimon Merced

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Rafael Trejo Boxing Gym, Havana,  taking place on 24/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Cuba-Havana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vidal Melendez (10(8) - 0) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Aimon Merced(18 - 7 - 7) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Melendez and Merced weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Villavicencio, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Limas, Cipriano Gomez and Oihane Rossel.
