Louis Granada vs Jay Ponton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Naperville Adamik, Naperville,  taking place on 22/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Louis Granada (4 - 0) who hails from Pittsburgh, USA and Jay Ponton(1 - 4) from Pittsburgh, USA.  Both Granada and Ponton weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nick Taggart, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Espy, Alen Valentine and Colin Karolewicz.  

Round 1: 

Granada is looking to close the distance.  Granada pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Granada sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Ponton's body.  
Granada pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Granada closes the distance.  Granada voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ponton throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Granada is on target with a firm left hook.  
Granada steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Granada gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Granada lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Granada hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Ponton advances into close range.  Granada is on target with a left hook.  
Ponton connects with a right uppercut.

Ponton throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Granada lands a left uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Ponton is looking to close the distance.  Granada lands a solid right uppercut.  
Granada lands with a solid jab.  
Granada gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Granada lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Granada connects with a solid cross.  
Ponton hits home with a cross.  
Granada advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Granada is on target with a left hook.  
Granada is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Granada steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Granada advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Granada is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ponton wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
