Roy Bayne vs Ross Perrault

Boxing Daily Report from the Kauseni Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Bayard, Abidjan,  taking place on 26/04/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roy Bayne (15(11) - 0) who hails from Abobo, Ivory Coast and Ross Perrault(17 - 9 - 4) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Bayne weighed in at 140 pounds, while Perrault weighed in at 140 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Perrault came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Gregory de Pizan, and the three ringside judges are Oriel Normandin, Trystan Basque and Rance Verne.  

Round 1: 

Bayne lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Perrault quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bayne is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Bayne tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Perrault steps inside.  Bayne lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Bayne lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Bayne is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Perrault walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Bayne is on target with a jab.  
Bayne steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING PERRAULT DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Perrault recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Perrault closes the distance and forces Bayne to back into the ropes.  Bayne throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Bayne ties up his opponent.  Bayne leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Perrault pivots to the right of his opponent.  Perrault connects with a right hook.  Bayne clinches his opponent.  Bayne pushes his forearm into Perrault's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bayne steps to the outside and lands a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Perrault's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Perrault's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Perrault's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Bayne contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Perrault tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bayne lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Bayne steps to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Perrault closes the distance and walks Bayne down, trapping him on the ropes.  Perrault throws a right hook, but Bayne ties up his opponent.  Perrault is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.
