Eloy Ponce vs Sagaz Gabriel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Basque Country promoted show at Vidal Checo Gym, Bilbao,  taking place on 03/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Basque Country Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eloy Ponce (12 - 21(5) - 4) who hails from Bilbao, Spain and Sagaz Gabriel(18(4) - 6(1)) from Bilbao, Spain.  Ponce weighed in at 175 pounds, while Gabriel weighed in at 174 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Olavarria, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Gallegos, Beltran Cueto and Leonel Marta.  

Round 1: 

Ponce throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.
