Inigo Edmison vs John Tweed

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Jordan Tear Gym, Louisville,  taking place on 04/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Inigo Edmison (8 - 9 - 3) who hails from Louisville, USA and John Tweed(26 - 12(1)) from Lexington, USA.  Both Edmison and Tweed weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Prosser, and the three ringside judges are Roger Crombie, Patrick Carnegie and Noel Aitkens.  

Round 1: 

Tweed pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Tweed quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Tweed is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Tweed lands a left uppercut.  
Edmison pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Tweed drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Tweed sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a stiff jab.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Tweed.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
