Mark Gibson vs John Gilmore

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Roger Lang Gym, Lexington,  taking place on 04/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Gibson (14 - 10 - 2) who hails from Louisville, USA and John Gilmore(5 - 15(1) - 2) from Louisville, USA.  Gibson weighed in at 245 pounds and 8 ounces, while Gilmore weighed in at 238 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Days, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Hutcheon, Matthew Hatt and Amon Stephen.  

Round 1: 

Gilmore is looking to close the distance and forces Gibson to retreat into a corner.  As Gilmore tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gibson dabs at his face checking for damage.
