Vincent Reekie vs Akbar Ramasubbier

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at University of East Caloocan, Caloocan,  taking place on 27/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Vincent Reekie (3(1) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Akbar Ramasubbier(1 - 1(1) - 1) from New Delhi, India.  Reekie weighed in at 140 pounds, while Ramasubbier weighed in at 139 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Landeros, and the three ringside judges are Rex Melero, Iago Monterroso and Onofre Dimasalang.  

Round 1: 

Reekie hits home with a left uppercut.  
Reekie manages to force Ramasubbier into the corner.  Reekie digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Reekie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Reekie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ramasubbier wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Reekie has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .  
Reekie lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Reekie drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Reekie lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Reekie steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Reekie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.

Reekie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ramasubbier throws a left hook, but Reekie holds on to his opponent.  Reekie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Reekie walks Ramasubbier into the red corner.  Reekie lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Reekie connects with a left hook.  
Reekie pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Reekie feints a jab, fooling Ramasubbier into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Reekie springs the trap and counters with  a solid left uppercut to Ramasubbier's liver.  
Reekie is looking to close the distance.  Reekie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Reekie is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Ramasubbier's body.  Reekie clinches his opponent.  Reekie pushes his forearm into Ramasubbier's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Reekie about fouling.  Reekie throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Reekie is on target with a cross.  
Reekie advances into close range.  Reekie pivots to the left of his opponent.  Reekie lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Reekie holds on to his opponent.  Ramasubbier tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Reekie's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ramasubbier.  
Reekie feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Reekie drives a right hook into Ramasubbier's body.  Reekie holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Reekie hits home with a firm left hook.  
Reekie is on target with a jab.  
Reekie gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Reekie ties up his opponent.  Reekie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Reekie retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Ramasubbier tries to tag Reekie on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Ramasubbier connects with a cross.  
Reekie gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Reekie lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ramasubbier's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Ramasubbier's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Ramasubbier's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Reekie drives a stinging left hook into Ramasubbier's body.  
Reekie closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Reekie is looking to keep his distance and lands with a stiff jab.  
Reekie is looking to close the distance.  Reekie lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ramasubbier has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Reekie is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Reekie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS RAMASUBBIER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Ramasubbier steps inside.  Reekie is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Reekie lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES RAMASUBBIER!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Reekie!
