John Ferries vs Chris Whittet

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 26/05/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Ferries (13 - 13 - 2) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Chris Whittet(14(2) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Ferries and Whittet weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Paipa, and the three ringside judges are Hani Rarere, Justin Kahukakanui and James Woodburn.
