Odo Virenque vs Mardian Beaudoin

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar Boye, Dakar,  taking place on 19/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Senegal Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Odo Virenque (13(1) - 3 - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Mardian Beaudoin(12(11) - 3) from Touba, Senegal.  Both Virenque and Beaudoin weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vernon Thiaw, and the three ringside judges are Garner Seyrig, Romain Ndong and Leggett Kasse.  

Round 1: 

Beaudoin advances into close range and is on target with a solid right uppercut.  Beaudoin ties up his opponent.  Virenque is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Virenque and breaks the clinch.
