Percy Manaudou vs Laramie Lafon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ivory Coast-Vallee du Bandama promoted show at Bouake Notte, Bouake,  taking place on 30/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ivory Coast-Vallee du Bandama Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Percy Manaudou (8(4) - 1) who hails from Bouake, Ivory Coast and Laramie Lafon(23 - 9) from Bouake, Ivory Coast.  Both Manaudou and Lafon weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Remi Lenglen, and the three ringside judges are Boden Marques, Noel Courau and Tenenan Villon.  

Round 1: 

Manaudou lands a solid cross.

Lafon steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lafon dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Lafon. Manaudou steps inside.  Manaudou lands a left hook.  Manaudou wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lafon dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Manaudou has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
