Bora Mardin vs Asil Shanli

Boxing Daily Report from the Nabighyan Promotions promoted show at Izmir Boztepe, Izmir,  taking place on 04/06/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bora Mardin (8 - 9 - 4) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Asil Shanli(6 - 16 - 1) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Mardin and Shanli weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Suleiman Ozbey, and the three ringside judges are Koray Ali, Coskun Tagmach and Doruk Atalar.

Shanli manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Mardin drives a left hook into Shanli's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Shanli.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Mardin is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land an overhand right, but Shanli slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Shanli gets on the inside.  Mardin throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Shanli to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Mardin and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Mardin tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mardin feints a left, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mardin pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
