Brett Steel vs Eddie McClarnon

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 19/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cold Brett Steel (43(28) - 4 - 2) who hails from Santa Clarita, USA and Eddie McClarnon(9(3) - 1 - 1) from Boston, USA.  Both Steel and McClarnon weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Bowens, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Fairlie, Yasin Hashemi and Jawad Hai.

McClarnon attempts to land a jab, but Steel dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Steel steps inside.  McClarnon digs in a left hook to Steel's liver.  Steel clinches his opponent.  McClarnon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McClarnon about fouling.  
Steel steps to the outside and hits home with a forceful cross.  MCCLARNON IS HURT!  McClarnon almost instantly gets his legs back.
