Viel Piers vs Walid Van der Borghereye

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-Utrecht promoted show at Thomas Anchemant Gym, Utrecht,  taking place on 13/08/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Netherlands Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Viel Piers (5 - 0 - 2) who hails from The Hague, Netherlands and Walid Van der Borghereye(5 - 0) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Piers weighed in at 219 pounds and 8 ounces, while Van der Borghereye weighed in at 247 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Roger Danneels, and the three ringside judges are Ward Van der Scave, Christophe Weymaere and Juliaan Obery.
