Paul Gibbs vs Peter Reuben

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 17/06/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Gibbs (17(11) - 2(1)) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Peter Reuben(8 - 4(1) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Gibbs weighed in at 130 pounds, while Reuben weighed in at 128 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leon Kellar, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Cacciari, Johnny Deasmhumhain and Oliver Mullane.  

Round 1: 

Gibbs gets on the inside.  Gibbs pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.

Gibbs digs in a right uppercut to Reuben's ribcage.  Gibbs holds on to his opponent.  Gibbs is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gibbs.  
Gibbs is looking to close the distance.  Gibbs is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  As Reuben tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gibbs has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Gibbs uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Reuben's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gibbs to stop fouling.

Gibbs manouvers Reuben into a neutral corner.  Gibbs attempts to land a right uppercut, but Reuben parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gibbs connects with a right uppercut.

Gibbs lands a left hook.  
Gibbs pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
