Brad Weatherly vs Aatif Yacoubi

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 16/08/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mad Brad Weatherly (28(21) - 0) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Aatif The Body Snatcher Yacoubi(35(18) - 8(6)) from Berkane, Morocco.  Both Weatherly and Yacoubi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Moreno, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kelton, Michael Rice and Mark Gardon.  

Round 1: 

Weatherly connects with a firm cross.  
Weatherly drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Yacoubi advances into close range.  Weatherly throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Weatherly holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Weatherly pushes his forearm into Yacoubi's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Weatherly steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Yacoubi advances into close range and manouvers Weatherly onto the ropes.  Weatherly lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Yacoubi is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Weatherly switches the action to the outside and connects with a MASSIVE cross.  YACOUBI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Yacoubi quickly recovers. 
Yacoubi advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Weatherly clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Yacoubi pushes his forearm into Weatherly's face.  The referee warns Yacoubi and breaks the clinch.  
Weatherly lands a jab.  Weatherly tries to land an overhand left, but Yacoubi sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Weatherly's ribs.  
Weatherly lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Weatherly pivots to the left of his opponent.  Weatherly drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Weatherly holds on to his opponent.  Yacoubi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Weatherly tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yacoubi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Weatherly digs in a right hook to Yacoubi's ribcage.  
Weatherly is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Weatherly throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Weatherly finds the target with a jab.  
Yacoubi gets on the inside.  Weatherly hits home with a right hook.  
Weatherly is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Yacoubi walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yacoubi is on target with a cross.  
Yacoubi is looking to close the distance.  Weatherly lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.

Yacoubi is on target with a right uppercut to Weatherly's body.  
Yacoubi is looking to close the distance.  Weatherly is on target with a right hook.  
Weatherly lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yacoubi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Yacoubi walks Weatherly down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yacoubi lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Weatherly lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Weatherly tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a hard jab.  
Yacoubi gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Weatherly holds on to his opponent.  Yacoubi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Weatherly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Weatherly switches the action to the outside and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Yacoubi steps inside and manouvers Weatherly onto the ropes.  Weatherly connects with a right hook.  
Weatherly lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Weatherly is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Weatherly is on target with a MASSIVE cross.  YACOUBI IS HURT!  
Weatherly thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Yacoubi away.  Weatherly lands a right hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS YACOUBI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Yacoubi has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Weatherly switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Yacoubi is looking to close the distance.  Yacoubi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Yacoubi manages to force Weatherly onto the ropes.  Yacoubi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yacoubi is on target with a right hook to Weatherly's body.  
Weatherly SLAMS a WICKED overhand left into his opponents face.  YACOUBI IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Weatherly feints a left hook, but Yacoubi does not fall for it and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Yacoubi steps inside and drives a left hook into Weatherly's liver.  Yacoubi attempts to land a left hook, but Weatherly blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Yacoubi throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty left uppercut.  YACOUBI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Weatherly switches the action to the outside.  Weatherly knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Weatherly connects with a BRUTAL left hook.  YACOUBI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Weatherly!
