Douglas Baird vs Daniel McWatters

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Event City, Manchester,  taking place on 10/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (41(8) - 3(2)) who hails from Dundee, UK and Daniel McWatters(14 - 6) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Baird and McWatters weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Sprout, and the three ringside judges are Noel Moris, Irfan Assaf and Robert Ewings.  

Round 1: 

McWatters tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McWatters lands a spiteful jab.  
McWatters steps to the outside.  Baird is on target with a jab.  Baird throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McWatters steps away from his opponent.  Baird finds the target with a jab.  
McWatters is looking to keep his distance.  Baird lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
McWatters attempts to land a right hook, but Baird blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
