Diego Vallejo vs Xeres Cuenca

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Vicario, Acapulco,  taking place on 12/07/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Vallejo (14 - 26 - 8) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Xeres Cuenca(13 - 7(1) - 9) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Vallejo and Cuenca weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Verduzco, and the three ringside judges are Jerrold Santibanez, Fidel Molina and Carlos Sancho.  

Round 1: 

Vallejo tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Cuenca gets on the inside.  Vallejo is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cuenca closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Vallejo has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

As Vallejo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cuenca dabs at his face checking for damage.
