Aldus Birchmeier vs Meril Kugel

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at Burgerhaus Unterschleissheim, Munich,  taking place on 14/08/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aldus Birchmeier (9(5) - 2) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Meril Kugel(16 - 25(7) - 3 - 1(NC)) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Birchmeier and Kugel weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnaud Agers, and the three ringside judges are Bernie Judd, Manfried Kubach and Broderick Krick.  

Round 1: 

Birchmeier lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Birchmeier lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kugel attempts to land a jab, but Birchmeier slips the shot and counters with a weighty left uppercut.  KUGEL IS HURT!  Kugel almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Birchmeier lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Birchmeier lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Birchmeier is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Birchmeier senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Kugel and just needs the right shot.  Birchmeier lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  It looks like Kugel has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Birchmeier feints a jab, fooling Kugel into throwing a cross counter.  Birchmeier springs the trap and counters with  a firm right uppercut.  
Kugel attempts to land a cross, but Birchmeier slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kugel forces Birchmeier to retreat onto the ropes.  Birchmeier lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kugel recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Birchmeier switches the action to the outside and hits home with a telling cross.  KUGEL IS HURT!  
Birchmeier knows Kugel is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Birchmeier lands a WICKED cross.  KUGEL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Birchmeier!
