Diego Nino vs Ovidio Custodio

Boxing Daily Report from the Mugyenyi Promotions promoted show at Beltran Behar Gym, Nuevo Laredo,  taking place on 30/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Nino (21 - 8 - 2) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Ovidio Custodio(7(1) - 2) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Both Nino and Custodio weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Franco, and the three ringside judges are Isidro Morena, Alejandro Rebolledo and Santiago Badia.  

Round 1: 

Custodio connects with a sharp cross.  
Nino hits home with an overhand right.  
Nino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Custodio lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Custodio tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Custodio advances into close range.  Custodio sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Nino's body.  
Custodio manages to force Nino into the red corner.  Custodio lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.
