Neron Cabatingan vs William Ogtong

Boxing Daily Report from the Poku Promotions promoted show at Santa Rosa Dimalanta, Santa Rosa,  taking place on 01/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neron Cabatingan (20 - 13(1) - 5) who hails from Cabuyao, Philippines and William Ogtong(6 - 11 - 3) from Santa Rosa, Philippines.  Both Cabatingan and Ogtong weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nemesio Castrillo, and the three ringside judges are Neper Langkin, Jeraldo Canas and Nemesio Castrillo.

Ogtong lands a right uppercut.

Ogtong attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Cabatingan to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Ogtong and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Ogtong manages to force Cabatingan into a corner.  Ogtong stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Cabatingan is on target with a cross.  
Ogtong closes the distance.  Cabatingan connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cabatingan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Ogtong's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Ogtong gets on the inside.  Ogtong quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cabatingan dabs at his face checking for damage.
