Kyland Piel vs Ignado Davalos

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicky Bonds promoted show at Teatro Caupolican, Santiago,  taking place on 14/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kyland Piel (17(15) - 0 - 1) who hails from Lubeck, Germany and Ignado The Devil Davalos(27 - 4(1) - 1) from San Lorenzo, Paraguay.  Both Piel and Davalos weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Vidales, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Britto, Rio Guerrero and Santiago Banuelos.  

Round 1: 

Piel lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Piel lands with a hard jab.  
Davalos lands a stiff jab.

Piel steps away from his opponent.  Piel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Davalos attempts to land a jab, but Piel dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook to Davalos's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Piel's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Davalos's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Davalos's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Davalos's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Piel tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Piel is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a big cross.  DAVALOS IS HURT!  
Piel is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Piel lands a right hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING DAVALOS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Davalos now seems to have his senses back.  
Piel lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Piel attempts to land an overhand left, but Davalos slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Piel feints a left hook, but Davalos does not fall for it and is on target with a right hook.  
Davalos switches the action to the outside.  Piel lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Piel lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Piel advances into close range.  Piel lands a solid left uppercut.  Piel holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Piel pushes his forearm into Davalos's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  As Davalos tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Piel dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Piel is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Davalos almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Piel lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Piel is on target with a left hook.  
Piel tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a solid cross into his opponents body.  Piel tries to land a cross, but Davalos sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Piel steps away from his opponent and lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head, AND DAVALOS IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Piel!
