Brett Moncayo vs Darragh Donovan

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 12/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brett Moncayo (11(9) - 0) who hails from Reno, USA and Darragh Donovan(19(5) - 13(10)) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Moncayo and Donovan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Scroggie, and the three ringside judges are Michael Rice, Stuart Purcell and Lee Bartolome.  

Round 1: 

Donovan gets on the inside and digs in a firm left hook to Moncayo's body.

Donovan drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Moncayo lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  Moncayo attempts to land a jab, but Donovan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moncayo switches the action to the outside.  Moncayo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.

Donovan steps inside.  Donovan pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Donovan walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Donovan throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Donovan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Moncayo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Moncayo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Donovan gets on the inside.  Donovan is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Donovan throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Moncayo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Moncayo lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Donovan walks Moncayo onto the ropes.  Donovan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Moncayo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Donovan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moncayo is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Donovan advances into close range.  Moncayo is on target with a solid left hook to Donovan's body.  
Moncayo tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Donovan is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Moncayo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Donovan pushes his forearm into Moncayo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Donovan about fouling.  
Donovan walks Moncayo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Moncayo lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  Moncayo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Moncayo steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Moncayo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Donovan's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Donovan is looking to close the distance.  Moncayo throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Moncayo holds on to his opponent.  Donovan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Donovan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Moncayo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Donovan steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Donovan gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Donovan is on target with a left hook.  
Moncayo is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Donovan steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Donovan is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  Moncayo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Moncayo pushes his forearm into Donovan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Moncayo to stop fouling.

Moncayo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Moncayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Donovan gets on the inside and forces Moncayo to back into the ropes.  Moncayo senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot. Donovan closes the distance.  Moncayo digs in a telling right hook to Donovan's body.  DONOVAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Moncayo steps to the outside.  Moncayo sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Moncayo whips in a nasty right uppercut to Donovan's body.  DONOVAN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Moncayo!
