Yong-jae Chon vs Tae-hee Ko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Daejeon promoted show at Daejeon Chon, Daejeon,  taking place on 07/08/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Korea-Daejeon Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yong-jae Chon (17 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Daejeon, South Korea and Tae-hee Ko(12(6) - 0) from Daejeon, South Korea.  Both Chon and Ko weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seung-gyu Yee, and the three ringside judges are Jeong-hyeop Kwock, Jae-sung Pong and Sung-yun Chung.  

Round 1: 

Ko digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Chon steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.  
Ko connects with a firm right hook.

Ko tries to land a right uppercut, but Chon blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ko's ribs.  
Ko advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Ko lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chon tries to land a jab, but Ko slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ko crashes a mean right hook to Chon's ribs.  CHON IS HURT!  Ko throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  Chon quickly recovers. 
Ko lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS CHON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Chon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ko is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Chon lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ko is looking to close the distance.  Ko pivots to the left of his opponent.  Chon throws a right hook, but Ko clinches his opponent.  Ko is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ko to stop fouling.  
Ko sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head, AND DROPS CHON!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Chon connects with a cross.  
Chon pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ko lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Chon lands a cross.  
Ko advances into close range and drives a firm right hook into Chon's body.  
Chon tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Chon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
