Danny Bendick vs Mel Chiti

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Hawaii promoted show at Honolulu Dunlay, Honolulu,  taking place on 08/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Hawaii Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Bendick (12(5) - 2) who hails from Honolulu, USA and Mel Chiti(15 - 8(3) - 2) from Honolulu, USA.  Bendick weighed in at 147 pounds, while Chiti weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Ferrante, and the three ringside judges are Ethan Rhoderick, Tobias Meek and Jay Ardrey.  

Round 1: 

Bendick lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Bendick closes the distance.  Bendick pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Chiti's ribcage.  
Bendick hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Bendick gets on the inside.  Bendick retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Chiti attempts to land a right uppercut, but Bendick dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bendick gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Chiti's ribs.  
Bendick digs in a firm right hook to Chiti's body.  
Bendick is looking to close the distance.  Chiti throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bendick is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bendick is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.

Bendick is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Bendick hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Chiti is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Chiti quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chiti throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.

Chiti pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bendick lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Chiti is looking to keep his distance.  Chiti lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Bendick lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.
