Daiki Takeda vs Roger Davidge

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 09/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Takeda (8(6) - 1) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Roger Davidge(16 - 16(2) - 1) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Takeda and Davidge weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Louis Marvingt and Louis Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

Takeda lands a solid left hook.  Takeda ties up his opponent.  Takeda pushes his forearm into Davidge's face.  The referee warns Takeda and breaks the clinch.  
Takeda lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Takeda attempts to land a left hook, but Davidge parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Takeda manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Takeda digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Takeda is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Takeda is looking to close the distance.  Davidge pivots from in front of his opponent.  Takeda is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Takeda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Takeda lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Takeda holds on to his opponent.  Takeda hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Takeda crashes a nasty right hook to his opponents ribs.  DAVIDGE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Davidge almost instantly recovers. 
Takeda steps inside.  Takeda pivots to the left of his opponent.  Takeda lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Takeda clinches his opponent.  Takeda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Davidge leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Takeda steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Takeda hits home with a sharp cross.  
Takeda is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Takeda lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Takeda lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Takeda is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Davidge is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Takeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Davidge attempts to land a jab, but Takeda blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Takeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Takeda is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Takeda is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Takeda is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Takeda ties up his opponent.  Takeda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Takeda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Takeda steps inside and drives a stinging left hook into Davidge's body.  
Davidge tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Davidge steps away from his opponent.  Takeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid cross.  
Takeda steps inside and drives a stinging right hook into Davidge's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Davidge's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Davidge's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Takeda lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES DAVIDGE!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Takeda lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Davidge now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Takeda lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Takeda ties up his opponent.  Takeda is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Takeda hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Takeda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Takeda closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Takeda attempts to land a left hook, but Davidge blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Takeda feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Davidge.  Takeda springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
Takeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Davidge throws a right hook, but Takeda clinches his opponent.  Takeda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Takeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Takeda steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Takeda crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES DAVIDGE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Takeda lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Takeda connects with a left hook.  
Takeda lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Takeda drives a forceful left hook into his opponents liver.  DAVIDGE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Davidge almost instantly recovers. 
Davidge tries to keep the action at long range.  Takeda feints a right, and then EXPLODES a WICKED cross into his opponents face.  DAVIDGE IS HURT!  
Takeda advances into close range.  Takeda senses Davidge is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Takeda lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS DAVIDGE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Davidge the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Takeda!
