Angel Badia vs Dimos Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Macario Bail Gym, Los Alcarrizos,  taking place on 21/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Badia (14 - 15(2) - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic and Dimos Mero(16(1) - 0 - 1) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Badia weighed in at 135 pounds And 12 ounces, while Mero weighed in at 135 pounds.    As Badia came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Quito Suero, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Tesoro, Nemesio Carrero and Javier Renteria.
