Amer Imam vs Mikio Sakurai

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Cebu Coliseum, Cebu City,  taking place on 17/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Imam (17(12) - 0) who hails from Bekasi, Indonesia and Mikio Sakurai(32(4) - 10(9)) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Imam and Sakurai weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malvolio Monterrosa, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Magana, Vicente Baliad and Ricardo Olvera.  

Round 1: 

Sakurai pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sakurai attempts to land a cross, but Imam blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Imam connects with a potent cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE SAKURAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sakurai quickly recovers.

Sakurai is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Imam attempts to land a left uppercut, but Sakurai parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Imam's body.

Sakurai gets on the inside.  Imam drives a right hook into Sakurai's body.  Imam tries to land a left hook, but Sakurai sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sakurai walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Imam is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Imam is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Sakurai is looking to close the distance.  Imam tries to land a left hook, but Sakurai blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Imam steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.
