Michael Abernethy vs Neil Siman

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas,  taking place on 22/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Abernethy (36(28) - 7(6) - 1) who hails from Jackson, USA and Neil Siman(13(5) - 5(4)) from Rancho Cucamonga, USA.  Both Abernethy and Siman weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Gibson, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hasson, Chris Cadwallader and Alastair Harle.  

Round 1: 

Siman advances into close range.  Abernethy lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Abernethy tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand right, but Siman slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Siman throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Siman's body.  
Abernethy lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Siman steps inside.  Abernethy hits home with a firm right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Siman dabs at his face checking for damage.

Abernethy is looking to keep his distance.  Siman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abernethy tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Abernethy hits home with a stiff jab.  
Siman closes the distance and lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Siman is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Siman lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Abernethy wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Siman dabs at his face checking for damage.

Siman closes the distance and forces Abernethy to back into the ropes.  Siman is on target with a solid right hook.  
Abernethy attempts to land a left hook, but Siman slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Siman closes the distance.  Abernethy is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Abernethy throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Siman attempts to land a jab, but Abernethy sidesteps and counters with a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE SIMAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Siman almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Siman attempts to land an overhand right, but Abernethy sidesteps and counters with a hurtful right hook.  SIMAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Siman is looking to close the distance.  Abernethy thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Siman away.  Abernethy lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS SIMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Abernethy lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS SIMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Siman cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Abernethy!
