Doug MacDuff vs Alex Madigan

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at First Direct Arena, Leeds,  taking place on 30/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Doug The Chaman MacDuff (15(14) - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Alex Madigan(12 - 1(1) - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  MacDuff weighed in at 160 pounds, while Madigan weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Greg Cody, and the three ringside judges are Rob Apted, Ken McRoberts and Hayden McPherson.  

Round 1: 

Madigan lands with a stinging jab.  
MacDuff is looking to close the distance.  Madigan throws a left uppercut, but MacDuff clinches his opponent.  Madigan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. MacDuff is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns MacDuff to stop fouling.

MacDuff lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Madigan digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacDuff lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  MacDuff holds on to his opponent.  MacDuff leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Madigan almost instantly recovers. 
MacDuff lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  MacDuff attempts to land a left hook, but Madigan blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Madigan switches the action to the outside.  MacDuff lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
MacDuff lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  MacDuff ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Madigan pushes his forearm into MacDuff's face.  The ref breaks MacDuff's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
MacDuff closes the distance and walks Madigan onto the ropes.  MacDuff lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacDuff lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Madigan drives a left uppercut into MacDuff's liver.  MacDuff ties up his opponent.  Madigan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits MacDuff behind the head. 
MacDuff closes the distance.  Madigan tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
MacDuff closes the distance.  Madigan drives a right hook into MacDuff's ribs.  
MacDuff digs in a solid left uppercut to Madigan's body.  
Madigan steps away from his opponent.  MacDuff sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
MacDuff cuts off the ring, trapping Madigan in a neutral corner.  MacDuff pivots to the side of his opponent.  Madigan drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  MacDuff ties up his opponent.  Madigan pushes his forearm into MacDuff's face.  The ref breaks MacDuff's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
MacDuff is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
MacDuff connects with an overhand left.  MacDuff throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
