Peter Brody vs Nathan Pearce

Boxing Daily Report from the Kaggwa Promotions promoted show at Tulsa Mowatt, Tulsa,  taking place on 08/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Brody (27(8) - 2 - 5) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Nathan Pearce(11 - 11(7) - 1) from Mesa, USA.  Both Brody and Pearce weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Watterson, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie McCleese, John Galatas and Josh Craighead.  

Round 1: 

Brody lands a stinging left hook.  
Brody tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Brody lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Brody advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Brody closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Brody attempts to land a jab, but Pearce dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Brody gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Brody connects with a stinging left hook.  
Brody digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Brody quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Brody is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Brody walks his opponent into the red corner.  Brody lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Brody lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Pearce attempts to land a right hook, but Brody sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.

Brody steps to the outside.  Brody feints a cross, but Pearce is not fooled and lands with a right uppercut.

Brody is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Brody lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING PEARCE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Pearce now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Brody digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES PEARCE!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Brody steps away from his opponent.  Brody sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pearce tries to land a jab, but Brody dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Brody lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brody is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.

Brody lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Pearce quickly recovers.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pearce dabs at his face checking for damage.  Pearce has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Brody lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES PEARCE!  He manages to get up at 7.  Pearce almost instantly recovers.

Brody knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Brody whips in a big left hook to Pearce's liver.  PEARCE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Brody closes the distance.  Brody crashes a nasty left uppercut to Pearce's body.  PEARCE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Brody!
