Ian Salton vs Colin McCray

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Top Academy promoted show at Melbourne Fedorovtsev, Melbourne,  taking place on 17/09/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Salton (14 - 7(5)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Colin McCray(6 - 6 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Salton and McCray weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Stronach, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Barfoot, Neil Lazarev and Abdul Sabir.  

Round 1: 

Salton steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
McCray switches the action to the outside.  Salton is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  McCray attempts to land a jab, but Salton sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Salton advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Salton lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Salton cuts off the ring, trapping McCray in a corner.  Salton drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Salton is looking to close the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Salton ties up his opponent.  Salton hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Salton about fouling.  
Salton lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Salton advances into close range.  Salton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

McCray pivots to the left of his opponent.  Salton lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  As McCray tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Salton dabs at his face checking for damage.
