Jamie Hilley vs Bob Jeppesen

Boxing Daily Report from the Kugblenu Promotions promoted show at Warren Lees, Warren,  taking place on 12/10/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie Hilley (19(14) - 1 - 1) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and Bob Jeppesen(11 - 11 - 7) from Detroit, USA.  Hilley weighed in at 128 pounds and 15 ounces, while Jeppesen weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Duffey, and the three ringside judges are Mick Wathen, Ian Duffey and Leon Russell.  

Round 1: 

Jeppesen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hilley lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Hilley gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Hilley clinches his opponent.  Hilley pushes his forearm into Jeppesen's face.  The referee warns Hilley and breaks the clinch.  
Hilley digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hilley manouvers Jeppesen onto the ropes.  Hilley lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Hilley clinches his opponent.  Hilley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hilley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hilley lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hilley slams a big left hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE JEPPESEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Hilley walks Jeppesen onto the ropes.  Some sustained pressure from Hilley could be enough to finish Jeppesen!  Hilley lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, KNOCKING JEPPESEN DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Jeppesen has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hilley lands a left uppercut.  
Jeppesen throws a left hook, but Hilley ties up his opponent.  Hilley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hilley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jeppesen behind the head. 
Hilley lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jeppesen quickly recovers. 
Hilley hits home with a solid right hook.  
Hilley manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Hilley lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Hilley lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jeppesen steps to the outside.  Hilley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Hilley closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hilley walks Jeppesen down, trapping him in the corner.  Hilley lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS JEPPESEN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Jeppesen almost instantly recovers. 
Hilley is on target with a left hook.  
Hilley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hilley is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hilley digs in a right hook to Jeppesen's body.  
Hilley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Hilley feints a jab, tricking Jeppesen into throwing a left hook counter.  Hilley avoids the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Hilley lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jeppesen almost instantly recovers. 
Hilley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jeppesen quickly recovers. 
Hilley lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Jeppesen has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jeppesen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Jeppesen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Hilley walks Jeppesen down, trapping him in the corner.  Hilley lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Hilley clinches his opponent.  Hilley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jeppesen behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hilley.  
Hilley digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hilley digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hilley digs in a right hook to Jeppesen's ribcage.  
Hilley is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hilley lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Hilley holds on to his opponent.  Hilley leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hilley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jeppesen behind the head.

Hilley lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Hilley forces Jeppesen to back into the ropes.  Hilley thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Jeppesen away.  Hilley lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS JEPPESEN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Hilley DETONATES a hurtful left hook on his opponents face.  JEPPESEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Jeppesen now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Hilley lands a solid cross.  
Hilley feints a jab, tricking Jeppesen into throwing a left hook counter.  Hilley springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Hilley closes the distance and lands a stinging left hook.  Hilley holds on to his opponent.  Hilley hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Hilley gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Hilley is on target with a VICIOUS right uppercut.  JEPPESEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Hilley!
