Bob Frimpong vs David Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Narh, Kumasi,  taking place on 22/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bob Frimpong (10 - 3 - 7) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and David Appiah(12(4) - 0) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Frimpong and Appiah weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Siddiqi, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Abood, Nwa Agbee and Amon Amartey.  

Round 1: 

Appiah is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Appiah gets on the inside.  Frimpong sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Frimpong throws a left uppercut, but Appiah ties up his opponent.  Appiah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Frimpong behind the head. As they grapple, Appiah pushes his forearm into Frimpong's face.  The referee warns Appiah and breaks the clinch.
