Hiroki Morimoto vs Kenji Matsui

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Kamwi Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 27/09/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Kyoto Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Morimoto (14(8) - 0) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Kenji Matsui(9 - 16(2) - 2) from Kyoto, Japan.  Morimoto weighed in at 245 pounds and 1 ounces, while Matsui weighed in at 242 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Tominaga, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Ida, Kenji Fujimoto and Nao Mori.  

Round 1: 

Morimoto steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Morimoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.

Morimoto lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Morimoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Morimoto hits home with a right hook.  
Morimoto lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Morimoto advances into close range.  Morimoto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Morimoto tries to keep the action at long range.  Morimoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a sharp cross.  
Morimoto closes the distance.  Morimoto pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Morimoto steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Morimoto switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Morimoto is on target with a jab.  Morimoto throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Morimoto steps inside and lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Morimoto lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Morimoto closes the distance.  Morimoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Morimoto is looking to close the distance.  Morimoto backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Matsui steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Morimoto drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Matsui's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Matsui's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Matsui sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Morimoto lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Matsui sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Matsui connects with a cross.  Matsui tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a FIERCE right uppercut.  MATSUI IS HURT!  
Morimoto advances into close range.  Morimoto senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Matsui and just needs the right shot.  Morimoto lands a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  MATSUI IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Morimoto!
