Mark Amata vs Nwankwo Doda

Boxing Daily Report from the Frimpong Promotions promoted show at Ikechukwu Azutambata Gym, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 28/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Amata (7 - 3 - 1) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Nwankwo Doda(14 - 4 - 2) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Amata weighed in at 199 pounds And 9 ounces, while Doda weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Akika, and the three ringside judges are Alen Akika, Izunna Abulu and Godfrey Olorundare.  

Round 1: 

Amata advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Doda dabs at his face checking for damage.
