Hudhafah Barek vs Bilal Jappa

Boxing Daily Report from the Mphande Promotions promoted show at Tangier Hammoud, Tangier,  taking place on 29/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Tanger-Tetouan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hudhafah Barek (12 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Larache, Morocco and Bilal Jappa(23(8) - 16(2) - 1) from Tangier, Morocco.  Both Barek and Jappa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quds Egal, and the three ringside judges are Amaniyy Bedel, Mujahid Elkaim and Ajwad Alwahid.  

Round 1: 

Jappa lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Jappa manouvers Barek into a corner.  Jappa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Jappa lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Barek lands a cross.  
Jappa hits home with a sharp jab.  
Jappa advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Jappa holds on to his opponent.  Jappa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Jappa walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Jappa lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jappa lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jappa lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Barek throws a left uppercut, but Jappa clinches his opponent.  Jappa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Jappa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Jappa digs in a left hook to Barek's body.  
Jappa digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Jappa clinches his opponent.  Jappa pushes his forearm into Barek's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jappa about fouling.  
Jappa advances into close range.  Jappa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Jappa is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Jappa lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING BAREK DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Barek now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Jappa digs in a solid left uppercut to Barek's body.  
Barek is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jappa gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Barek is looking to keep his distance.  Barek feints a cross, and then hits home with a cross.  
Jappa steps inside and digs in a stinging left hook to Barek's body.

Barek tries to step out of his opponents range.  Jappa knows Barek is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Jappa whips in a hurtful left hook to Barek's body.  DOWN GOES BAREK!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Barek now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Jappa gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Barek steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Jappa sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jappa is on target with a right hook.  Jappa holds on to his opponent.  Barek pushes his forearm into Jappa's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Barek about fouling.  
Jappa lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Barek finds the target with a jab.  
Jappa is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jappa attempts to land a left hook, but Barek blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Barek's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Barek's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
