Juan Luz vs Bruce Griffin

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at The National, Richmond,  taking place on 14/10/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Luz (7 - 0) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Bruce Griffin(11 - 6(1) - 1) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Luz and Griffin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zachary Davis, and the three ringside judges are Jamie McClennen, Hugh Wallach and Ewan Farris.  

Round 1:

Luz advances into close range.  Griffin pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Griffin feints a right hook, and then lands a jab.  
Luz is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left hook into Griffin's body.  
Griffin backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Luz tries to tag Griffin on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
