Brin Carmody vs Jamie Hollern

Boxing Daily Report from the Sarkodee Promotions promoted show at Minneapolis Dahmer, Minneapolis,  taking place on 04/10/2034:

Clearly Sarkodee Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Carmody (6 - 5 - 3) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Jamie Hollern(5 - 5 - 1) from Minneapolis, USA.  Carmody weighed in at 125 pounds And 6 ounces, while Hollern weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Scholar, and the three ringside judges are David Scholar, Ian Soderberg and Greg Pelle.  

Round 1: 

Hollern closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hollern digs in a solid left hook to Carmody's liver.  
Hollern is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hollern pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Hollern is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Hollern drives a left uppercut into Carmody's body.  As Carmody tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hollern dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Carmody has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
