James Groves vs William Dow

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit 3.0 promoted show at Adelaide Arena, Adelaide,  taking place on 31/10/2034:

Clearly No Limit 3.0 have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James Groves (10 - 1) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and William Dow(17(10) - 4(2)) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Groves and Dow weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Whitehead, and the three ringside judges are Steven Kavanah, Steven Kavanah and Zach Drummond.  

Round 1: 

Groves gets on the inside.  Dow is on target with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE GROVES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Groves quickly recovers. 
Groves forces Dow to back into the ropes.  Groves lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Dow finds the target with a jab.  
Groves is looking to close the distance.  Groves sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Dow connects with a left uppercut.  
Dow lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Dow lands a left hook.  
Dow DETONATES a FIERCE cross on his opponents face.  GROVES IS HURT!  Groves quickly recovers. 
Dow switches the action to the outside.  Groves attempts to land an overhand right, but Dow sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Dow is on target with a jab.  
Dow lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Dow steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Dow lands a sharp jab.  
Groves is on target with an overhand left.  
Dow feints a cross, and then lands with a ramrod jab.  Dow tries to land a jab, but Groves slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Groves is on target with a left hook.  Groves throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Groves lands a jab.  Groves tries to land a jab, but Dow parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dow lands with a spiteful jab.  
Groves steps inside.  Groves pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dow throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Dow ties up his opponent.  Groves leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dow's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Groves hits home with a solid jab.  
Groves is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Dow is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!

Dow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Groves digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dow lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Groves is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Dow digs in a firm left uppercut to Groves's ribs.  
Groves lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Groves is on target with a right uppercut.

Dow steps to the outside and lands with a solid jab.

Groves closes the distance.  Groves pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Dow hits home with a hard jab.  
Groves connects with a right hook.  
Groves is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Groves pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Groves walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Dow lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS GROVES TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Groves could be stopped here, if Dow can find the right shot!  Dow lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING GROVES TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Groves now seems to have got his legs back.
