Phil McCoubrey vs Alec Mallis

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 13/10/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phil McCoubrey (9 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Alec Mallis(4 - 1) from Jacksonville, USA.  Both McCoubrey and Mallis weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Greenan, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Ormiston, Sam Evans and Richard Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

McCoubrey advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
McCoubrey steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

McCoubrey steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
McCoubrey closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Mallis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCoubrey dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to McCoubrey.  That has caused a slight cut  the right eye.  .
