Kazuhiko Shirai vs Ryuu Nakatomi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Banquet Hall Kairaku, Kobe,  taking place on 16/10/2034:

Clearly AI Japan-Hyogo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kazuhiko Gōruden Shirai (5(1) - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ryuu Nakatomi(13 - 7(1) - 3) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Shirai and Nakatomi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Arakaki, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Abe, Jiro Kawakami and Michi Morita.  

Round 1: 

Shirai steps inside.  Nakatomi lands a right uppercut.  
Shirai lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shirai walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Shirai lands a right hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  
Shirai connects with a right hook.  
Shirai drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Shirai lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Shirai gets on the inside.  Shirai pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shirai digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Shirai ties up his opponent.  Shirai pushes his forearm into Nakatomi's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shirai about fouling.  
Shirai connects with a cross.  
Shirai advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Shirai holds on to his opponent.  Shirai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shirai throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Shirai clinches his opponent.  Shirai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shirai digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nakatomi is looking to keep his distance.  Shirai lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Nakatomi throws a right hook, but Shirai holds on to his opponent.  Shirai throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.

Shirai walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Shirai is on target with a potent left uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE NAKATOMI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Nakatomi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Shirai lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Shirai holds on to his opponent.  Shirai tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nakatomi behind the head. 
Shirai lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nakatomi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Nakatomi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Nakatomi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Shirai lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Shirai walks Nakatomi into the corner.  Shirai drives a right hook into Nakatomi's body.  
Shirai sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nakatomi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Shirai pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Nakatomi's body.  
Shirai lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Shirai gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shirai lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Shirai sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Shirai lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS NAKATOMI TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Nakatomi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Shirai is looking to close the distance.  Shirai pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nakatomi throws a right hook, but Shirai holds on to his opponent.  Shirai uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nakatomi behind the head. The referee warns Shirai and breaks the clinch.  
Shirai lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shirai lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shirai is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Nakatomi's body.  
Shirai is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nakatomi tries to keep the action at long range.  Shirai hits home with an overhand left.  
Shirai advances into close range and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shirai throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Shirai ties up his opponent.  Shirai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Shirai pushes his forearm into Nakatomi's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shirai gets on the inside and whips in a mean left hook to his opponents ribs.  NAKATOMI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nakatomi almost instantly recovers. 
Shirai closes the distance and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nakatomi's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Nakatomi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Nakatomi attempts to land a left uppercut, but Shirai blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shirai closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Shirai advances into close range.  Nakatomi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Shirai lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nakatomi steps to the outside.  Shirai lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shirai gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to Nakatomi's body.  
Shirai drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Shirai is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  Shirai ties up his opponent.  Shirai leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shirai lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nakatomi quickly recovers.
