Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 16/11/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are George Powles (30(23) - 3(3) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Waldie(27(1) - 11(6)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Powles weighed in at 154 pounds, while Waldie weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fraser McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Bruce, Ian Norris and Pepe Brunetti.  

Round 1: 

Waldie finds the target with a jab.  
Powles lands a sharp cross.

Waldie connects with a right hook.  Waldie attempts to land a right hook, but Powles sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Powles steps to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.  
Waldie tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Powles is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a solid cross.  
Powles is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Waldie cuts off the ring, trapping Powles in a corner.  Waldie lands a cross.  
Powles throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Waldie is looking to close the distance.  Powles lands a solid left hook.  
Powles switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Waldie steps inside and forces Powles to retreat onto the ropes.  Waldie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Powles throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Powles clinches his opponent.  Powles leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Waldie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Waldie attempts to land a jab, but Powles slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Powles is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a firm cross.  
Powles is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Waldie attempts to land a cross, but Powles blocks the shot and counters with a spiteful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE WALDIE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Waldie almost instantly gets his legs back.

Waldie attempts to land a jab, but Powles slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Powles is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp jab.

Waldie gets on the inside.  Powles attempts to land a right hook, but Waldie sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Powles sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Waldie lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Waldie tries to land a jab, but Powles slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Powles steps away from his opponent.  Waldie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Powles lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Waldie advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.  Waldie tries to land a right hook, but Powles parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Powles lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Waldie quickly recovers. 
Powles lands a jab, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND WALDIE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Powles!
