Neil Villalobos vs Seth Ross

Boxing Daily Report from the Dayo Olatunbosun promoted show at Rehman Shehata Gym, Los Angeles,  taking place on 18/10/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-California Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Villalobos (28(14) - 5(2) - 2) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Seth Ross(13 - 14 - 2) from San Francisco, USA.  Both Villalobos and Ross weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Hamad, and the three ringside judges are Andy Johnson, Josh Butchart and Patrick Hardie.  

Round 1: 

Villalobos pivots to the right of his opponent.  Villalobos lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Villalobos ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Villalobos pushes his forearm into Ross's face.  The ref breaks Villalobos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
