Diego Bernardez vs Nicandro Lazcano

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Gimnasio Nacional, San Jose,  taking place on 02/11/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Bernardez (25(23) - 2(1)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Nicandro Lazcano(16(2) - 8(1)) from Panama City, Panama.  Bernardez weighed in at 175 pounds, while Lazcano weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Mora, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Mesquita, Cezar Gall and Santiago Durazo.  

Round 1: 

Bernardez lands a jab.

Lazcano closes the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Bernardez parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Lazcano walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lazcano throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Bernardez clinches his opponent.  Bernardez pushes his forearm into Lazcano's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bernardez.  
Lazcano throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a WICKED left uppercut.  LAZCANO IS HURT!  Lazcano almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Bernardez tries to step out of his opponents range.  Bernardez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Bernardez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Bernardez lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Lazcano attempts to land a left uppercut, but Bernardez sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lazcano lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lazcano is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Bernardez blocks the shot and counters with a mean cross.  LAZCANO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Bernardez senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Lazcano and just needs the right shot.  Bernardez lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES LAZCANO!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Lazcano advances into close range.  Bernardez lands a WICKED left hook.  LAZCANO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Bernardez is looking to keep his distance.  Bernardez lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND LAZCANO IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  It looks like Lazcano has now recovered from that shot earlier.
