Jacob Walsh vs Michael Gam

Boxing Daily Report from the All Saints promoted show at Edmund Trupia Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/10/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Walsh (16(1) - 9(4)) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Michael Gam(7 - 8(2) - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Walsh and Gam weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Griffith Batton, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Dale Carrick and Glyn Bowen.  

Round 1: 

Walsh advances into close range.  Gam pivots to the left of his opponent.  Walsh lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Gam tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Walsh lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gam dabs at his face checking for damage.
