Paul Gibbs vs Duncan Slone

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Nerang Velodrome, Gold Coast,  taking place on 18/10/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Gibbs (18(12) - 2(1)) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Duncan Slone(9 - 3(1) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Gibbs and Slone weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Arras, and the three ringside judges are Robert Dollar, Ian Rabb and Seth Urbano.  

Round 1: 

Gibbs advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Gibbs pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Gibbs gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into Slone's liver.  Gibbs attempts to land a right hook, but Slone sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gibbs steps inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Gibbs clinches his opponent.  Gibbs is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Slone switches the action to the outside.  Gibbs connects with a cross.
