Felix Maragos vs Ricky Carns

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Melbourne Watkins, Melbourne,  taking place on 26/10/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felix Maragos (23(20) - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Ricky Carns(2 - 2 - 1) from Wollongong, Australia.  Both Maragos and Carns weighed in at 126 pounds.

Carns tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Carns closes the distance and connects with a right hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Carns's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Carns's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Carns's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Maragos lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Maragos tries to keep the action at long range.  Maragos stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Maragos digs in a forceful left uppercut to Carns's liver.  CARNS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Carns has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Carns pivots to the side of his opponent.  Maragos lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Maragos clinches his opponent.  Carns is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carns about fouling.  Carns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maragos steps to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Carns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Carns is looking to close the distance.  Maragos lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Maragos holds on to his opponent.  Maragos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maragos steps to the outside.  Carns could be stopped here, if Maragos can find the right shot!  Maragos lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Maragos!
