Matthew Ballas vs Denton Manson

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Victor Gubay Gym, Worcester,  taking place on 30/10/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Ballas (3 - 10 - 2) who hails from Boston, USA and Denton Manson(26 - 12) from Boston, USA.  Both Ballas and Manson weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Walsh, and the three ringside judges are Bart McWethy, Owen Saunders and Denton Malone.  

Round 1: 

Manson closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Manson lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Manson clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ballas pushes his forearm into Manson's face.  The referee warns Ballas and breaks the clinch.  
Manson walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Manson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Manson lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Manson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Manson lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Manson is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ballas wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Manson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Manson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ballas throws a right hook, but Manson clinches his opponent.  Manson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Manson to stop fouling.
