Chigozie Grillo vs Hope Lamidi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-FCT promoted show at Abuja Bassey, Abuja,  taking place on 31/10/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-FCT Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chigozie Grillo (10(3) - 2(1)) who hails from Abuja, Nigeria and Hope Lamidi(14 - 21 - 5) from Abuja, Nigeria.  Grillo weighed in at 242 pounds And 12 ounces, while Lamidi weighed in at 235 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chima Obiefule, and the three ringside judges are Bright Madaki, Declan Bajah and Chima Obiefule.  

Round 1: 

Grillo gets on the inside.  Grillo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lamidi dabs at his face checking for damage.
